Free computer literacy courses – Nothing works!

A bit of an unusual post for my blog. This post is most likely not for my readers, but for your parents, grandparents. Quite by chance I came across interesting video courses on computer literacy. They are well made and everything is explained quite well in simple language. Such video courses are suitable for older viewers or children, for example. Schoolchildren will also be able to easily master this information.

Actually, here are two introductory videos. The first video is about the computer’s body, and the second about the soul. Yes, yes. I didn’t come up with these names.

ISSUE #1 – THE computer 🖥️ Body

ISSUE #2 – THE SOUL OF A COMPUTER

Want to watch 13 more episodes, download the entire course to your computer. The promoak.zip archive, 1.2 GB in size, is located on Yandex Disk. After downloading, unzip the archive and run the 0_START.html file in your browser
You can download the rest of the archive from the links below:

The file size is quite large, but it’s worth it.

This course was once sold for money, but I think such information should be completely free. You can download everything absolutely free and without any SMS 🙂

That’s not all. Below is another free video course on this topic.

Free course “Introductory course on computer literacy”

Here you will find answers to the following questions:

The video tutorials are in the archive komp313day.zip and are recorded in high quality, so the archive size is more than 800MB. After downloading, you need to unzip the archive and run the autorun.exe file. You will see a window like in the picture above. All that remains is to click on the question of interest to view the video tutorial.

Let’s be honest, the content of the second course is not so useful, and the information there is very one-sided. But for a general understanding, you can read it. Just remember that the course was filmed more than 3 years ago and some of the information in it is simply outdated.
