As Rick and Morty prepare to return in a few short weeks, Adult Swim has released a new teaser for season 7, giving us a preview of the antics to come and our first glimpse of the new voice actors taking Justin Roiland‘s place as the title characters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adult Swim keeps these performers’ identities a secret until the show’s debut because they “want the show to speak for itself.” They want to “preserve the viewing experience for fans” even if they “believe in the strength of the season and [the show’s] new voices.”

Roiland was fired from Rick and Morty and Adult Swim at the start of this year after felony domestic violence charges were brought against him. Although Roiland has also been charged with sexual assault and direct texting minor admirers, the allegations have subsequently been dropped.

Rick and Morty was co-created by Roiland, who also provided the voices for the two main characters, but the programme will continue to be successful without him.
