MOVIE OVERVIEW

Sukhee is an upcoming Hindi movie, scheduled to release on 22 September 2023. Sonal Joshi is directing it, and Shilpa Shetty will play the lead protagonist, while Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral will portray other lead characters. Sukhee also features popular actors Kiran Kumar, Vinod Nagpai, Purnima Rathod, Dilnaz Irani, and Chaitannya Choudhry.

It is a light-hearted, slice-of-life story of Sukhpreet ‘Sukhee’ Kalra, a 38 ear old Punjabi housewife who is fed up of her everyday, mundane life. She goes to Delhi to attend her school reunion where she relives the 17 year old version of herself. Whilst going through a plethora of experiences in a span of just seven days, she comes out rekindled, reborn. She makes the most difficult transition in her life – from being a wife to a mother, to being a woman again.

The new film of Shilpa Shetty – “Sukhee”, is about a Punjabi woman. Sukhpreet Kalra (punjabi woman), is 38 years old and has lost her identity after becoming a wife and a mother. The storyline, this film shows how she regains her original identity and starts living life with the same excitement that she had in her school time.

Shilpa Shetty is a famous actress, known for her beauty, dance and acting skills in movies of bollywood. She has announced her new film “Sukhee”, which is about woman empowerment. This is a small-budget slice-of-life film. Budget for “Sukhee” has not been announced officially yet, we will keep you updated.
