With the exception of the postseason, Drew will probably return when rosters open up on September 1. However, this will undoubtedly be his final month wearing a Red Sox uniform.
Well, at least the Sox will have an additional $14 million to work with in the upcoming season.

Jenks collapsed. In his first 11 outings, he had a 9.35 ERA before being placed on the 15-day injured list due to back problems.
Jenks has made two attempts to return and is now recovering from what the team is describing as left back stiffness on the disabled list for a third time.
If Jenks returns this season, don’t expect any miracles given his 6.32 ERA in 19 games.

Due to Jaso’s problems at the bat, Kelly Shoppach, who hasn’t exactly been on fire offensively (.179 average), has been splitting time with him. The Los Angeles Angels don’t appear to be the only club having trouble finding offence from anyone at the plate.
