MOVIE OVERVIEW
Sukhee is an upcoming Hindi movie, scheduled to release on 22 September 2023. Sonal Joshi is directing it, and Shilpa Shetty will play the lead protagonist, while Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral will portray other lead characters. Sukhee also features popular actors Kiran Kumar, Vinod Nagpai, Purnima Rathod, Dilnaz Irani, and Chaitannya Choudhry.
It is a light-hearted, slice-of-life story of Sukhpreet ‘Sukhee’ Kalra, a 38 ear old Punjabi housewife who is fed up of her everyday, mundane life. She goes to Delhi to attend her school reunion where she relives the 17 year old version of herself. Whilst going through a plethora of experiences in a span of just seven days, she comes out rekindled, reborn. She makes the most difficult transition in her life – from being a wife to a mother, to being a woman again.
